Following successful completion of a range of sediment control works in Mates Gully Creek, we would like to invite you to come along and check it out!
There will be visits to a number of key sites and discussions on sub-catchment drainage issues. On display will be:
- Stream grade control structures
- Gully control structures
- Sub-catchment control works
- Revegetation
- Habitat management works for endangered species such as Swift Parrots.
Collaboration between Tarcutta Valley Landcare Group, Mates Gully Creek landholders, Local Land Services and Natural Sequence farming expert, Peter Andrews has led to the success of this project.
Location: “Willowean” 910 Mates Gully Rd, Tarcutta
BBQ lunch will be provided on the day
Please ensure you wear appropriate field walking clothing, e.g trousers, hat, sturdy footwear, and a chair.
