A key component of this role is engaging and informing farmers, primary industry groups, community/landcare groups and local/regional Indigenous communities to deliver sustainable agricultural outcomes across the region.  You will be responsible for seeking funding opportunities and delivering and reporting on projects to help improve the sustainability, productivity and profitability of agriculture. To be successful in the role you must be innovative in your approach and have a strong focus on communication and stakeholder management that result in clear sustainable agriculture outcomes.
 
Your expertise and enthusiasm for facilitating partnerships to help achieve the NLP2 Regional Land Partnerships agricultural outcomes will be central to this role. Beyond your region, you will also be part of a national RALF network with a stronger relationship with the department and with others across the country facing similar issues and doing related work, and with tools to help share information and ideas on sustainable agricultural practices.
