Are you wondering how to make your small farm more productive?
Confused about managing stock, how to have healthy horses and grassy paddocks, or grazing strategies?
Do you want to establish trees, rehabilitate a creek or fix erosion?
Tired of sitting on the lawn mower all weekend?
We are establishing a new Wagga Region Small Farms Network, aimed specifically at assisting people who own or live on small to medium sized rural properties around the Wagga region.
The Small Farms Network
We aim to run field days, paddock walks and other events packed with information relevant to managing small farms in our local area.
This will be a community network, led by Murrumbidgee Landcare and our local Landcare Groups, with a special focus on the needs of small farms and those living in our peri-urban areas.
Sound good?
Email Nicole Maher at Murrumbidgee Landcare, providing your name, property location and contact details.
We will then add you to our mailing list, and connect you with your local Landcare Group. Becoming a member of your local Landcare Group will give you the opportunity to access further funding and other opportunities!
Complete our online survey!
The information from survey responses will allow us to start organising activities that are relevant to you!
