Tarcutta Valley Landcare Group invites you to a FREE workshop and social BBQ. Hear from industry experts with useful and practical advice on how to approach the coming season, with plenty of time for questions.
 
Richard Hayes (Agronomist, NSW Dept Primary Industries):
  • Sowing new pastures – when, what & how for maximum on-ground feed
  • Weed control for new pastures
  • Sowing crops or fodder crops
 
Dione Howard & Kristy Stone, District Vets, Riverina Local Land Services:
  • Avoiding stock losses when green feed becomes available
  • Use (or not) of supplements
  • Preparing stock for calving/lambing
 
Jim Virgona, Agronomist, Graminus Consulting:
  • Managing existing pastures – weed control, pest control & soil fertility
  • Pasture assessment for feed budgeting
  • Grazing management for drought-affected pastures
Following the workshop, we will have a BBQ with time to chat and socialise with other landholders from our region.
